Information
I modified an existing backstop design, adding degreed marks in 1, 5, 60, and 90 degree increments to aid in positioning of designs (surface mapped engraving on opposite sides of a non linear cylinder like a tumbler). I also cleaned up the slots as they were off by a few degrees. Works with both the Large and Small RA2 chucks. Degree marks generated with the Circular Pattern app in Creative Space.

Instruction
1
Step1: Open the file
  • Open the file.
  • Select your Material
    • I used 3MM Basswood Plywood
  • Validate settings:
    • Cut - Circle /Slot
    • Engrave - Degree marks.

On Galvo lasers, I prefer to have each piece centered, so I did the large and small wheels individually, but they can be done as a set with no issues on an XY Laser.

Step2: Process
  • Place material.
  • Verify framing.
  • Process and send to Laser.
3
Step3: Separate and Assemble

Remove cutouts from machine, and remove the arms from the chuck. Place smaller circle on the chuck first, then the larger one. The larger one is cut so the rails of the arms are able to slide more freely. Attach Arms and test it out.
