Information
Do you just throw your xTool P2 slats somewhere when you don't need all of them?

Then this might be the solution. Neatly store them in these stackable boxes.

Each of them holds 8 slats, because the P2 comes with 24 it seemed like a reasonable number. They are also not too wide which makes them easy to grab.

Instruction
1
Step1: Cut the wood parts
Preview

Use your preferred laser cutting software to cut the pieces from 3 mm plywood.

The provided file formats are `.xcs` for xTool Creative space, `.lbrn2` for LightBurn or basic `.svg` for any other software.

The files do not account for kerf, because based on your source material it can already be difficult to put together the long pieces.

Step2: Put the box together

To assemble put the slat holders (1a and 1b) into their holes on the bottom plate first, then add the long side panels (2a and 2b) and finish with the short side ones (3a and 3b).

Do a dry fit before you use glue.

If everything fits nicely, use some wood or super glue to hold the pieces together. I like to use medium CA glue that I just apply along the seams after the box has been put together.

Step3: Handling the slats

Insert the slats pointy side down into their holders.

To remove them, push down on one of the sides, so the other comes up. Once you have some room, you can pick them up directly.
