I spent too much time editing the photo, as it is a 17 year old photo. Higher resolution is best, but sometimes you have to sacrifice to keep the memory alive. I took my image over to Imagr and tried their new feature called Easy Way. They literally ask you what you want to do every step of the way and when asked what material you are using, they even invert the photo for you. If you bring it directly into XCS, make sure you INVERT your image. 

I added an image of the inside of my M1 Ultra and sent it to my computer. I added my inverted photo on the image of the slate coaster. I framed it to make sure everything lined up and then I processed it! It was only a 13 minute engraving time!!
