Clean the pot by wiping with rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol on the engraving surfaces. Spray with paint (I used Ceramark black laser marking spray - one coat) and allow to dry (approx 20 minutes).

Create your design and plan settings. This began as a settings test on my pot and I started with the xTool ceramic coaster settings, but didn't like the resulting color so I changed the settings. Settings for both are included, but if you want black marking on white ceramic I highly recommend the BL settings included in this tutorial.

Step3: Engrave and Clean

Engrave object and then clean. Ceramark spray comes off easily by running under water and wiping with a towel. Done ;)
