Information

This is a great project for a beginner. This simple project holds a small pad of paper (or sticky-notes) and your pens and pencils,

Instruction

1

Step1: Load your project file

Load the project file into the XTool Creative Space Software. This design was made for 3mm Basswood, which mine was actually 2.6mm thick. Depending on the thickness of your wood, you may need to adjust the width of the slots and tabs to be a little tighter. However, it's no problems if your joints are little lose in this project. They'll glue together nicely.

This project can easily be modified for a F1 with a slide extension. Just divide the bottom piece into two sections. Making a puzzle type connection between the two pieces will help.

Step2: Cut your pattern.

Assemble the two small boxes and glue together, while also glueing them to the base at the same time. I used large rubber bands to hold them together while drying, with a wight on top to keep the boxes secure to the base.

When dry, paint or stain to your preference.
