Step 1) The first thing to do with this project was to create a moose in Xart AI feature, I chose a moose that was smiling amongst the trees. Once I was happy with the image it was sent to the XCS software canvas. I then used the image editor and removed some of the background.

Step 2) For this project it was different than the usual placing material in the laser and framing. This time I placed the material in the laser in  a square fashion. 24 pieces to be exact and then set the auto focus the S1 has. Then i went back to the Xcs software as set up the 2 point system, this did 2 things first it set the size of the puzzle pieces and also helped with line up of the image to be engraved. it basically took the guess work out. After the 2 points were recorded the canvas showed me the actual size and square of all the pieces. I them was able to place the image squarely within the new outline of the point system. This allows me to make sure that it not only fit but was centered.

Step 3) Now the laser could engraving the image of the smiling moose right on all the pieces. It may look easy but this was not an easy puzzle once the pieces were mixed up….just a bunch of fun.
