This is a pattern to make the trifold wallet designed by Kingdom Glory Leather. You can find the instructional video on YouTube
take 1 each inner, outer, T pocket piece. Lay together as they should look assembled. Mark top of T pocket on back. Mark vertical lines on all 3 pieces 3/8” from long edges. Mark ¼ “ from bottom edges. Lay T pocket on inner pocket, mark outline of bottom of T’s and bottom of pocket. Double stick T pocket in place and sew. Next Glue T ears down and glue outer pocket on top to complete assy. Repeat for remaining pockets.
Trim 1/8” of each vertical side of all assy’s.
Determine which assy goes in which position ( left center right) On left and center, mark a vertical line 1/8”on the right side of the assy and stitch. On the right, mark a vertical line 1/8” on the left side and stitch
Place pocket assy’s on inner liner. Mark where they will lay with a line ¼ from edge – this will be your glue “limit” line - being careful that the spacing between the center pocket and the outers is even. Glue the pocket assy’s down on three sides – top, side and bottom. For the left and center glue the left side, on the right glue the right side.
Mark a line 1/8” from the top on all three assy’s and down the unsewn edge (left) edge of the center pocket and stitch the tops and the center left to inner liner.
On inner liner and outer cover, make a mark at the center on the bottom edge. On inner surface, mark ¼” line vertical on both ends, along bottom 2 ¾ long from both bottom corners and 2 ¾ in the center. Apply glue or double sided tape. Align center marks of both pieces and attach center of both pieces first, then align outside left and right edges and attach leaving a “pucker” in the outer cover between both pocket areas.
Mark a 1/8” line along both outer ends and along bottom for the outer pockets and the bottom of the center pocket. Note- do not mark or punch stitch holes in the two gaps. Sew these lines.
