Moments when children leave or friends emigrate. A small gift box for memories, small dedications for the journey ahead, or as a memento for those left behind.

Due to the wood shortage, I used MDF this time. There are certainly more beautiful types of wood. However, I think MDF, in particular, looks a bit like leather from a distance. Perfect for an old suitcase.
We'll start with the inside of the suitcase. Glue all the patterned individual pieces together to form a tall and a slightly shorter shell.
For the taller shell, the outer parts of the bottom of the trunk follow. Consider whether you'd prefer the handle at the back or the front. I chose the part with the small cutouts for the back of the suitcase.
The final part here is the base of the suitcase with the bending pattern.
The same (step 2) applies to the top (the one with the stickers).
We'll put everything together.
Let's focus on the leather straps. I also used wood glue to glue them to the wood. It worked wonderfully for me.
Finally, please attach the handle and the feet.
