Step 1) This dog picture frame starts with an oval made with the insert button. Once on the canvas it is outlined with the outline feature. This gets a generous  border so it is has a thickness to it.

Step 2) This step introduces an SVG of a puppy paw. This paw gets the same treatment to an outline as the oval has. Once the outline of the paw is created it is placed on the lower right corner of the 2 ovals. Here the inside part of the oval and the paw outline gets highlighted then the combine feature is used with selecting the subtract feature. This removes or adds the shape to the inside portion of the oval. for the outside of the oval the same procedure is done but this time the paw outline with the outside of the oval is highlight. This now adds the shape of the paw to the oval.

Step3: Backing and Paws

Step 3) Now the outline of the oval has the paw built into it the paw can be placed back with in the border of the newly shaped oval. Now a backing needs to be created, this is done by selecting only the outside portion of the oval and copying it and pasting. It end up being a solid backing. Now small paws are created to go around the oval. This is done by copying the paw itself but when pasted it is reduced in size so that it fits on the border. Several copies of the new smaller paw is created and is placed going up and around the border. The large paw and all the smaller paws are set to be scored.

Step4: Holder Stand

Step 4) Now the picture frame is all set to go to the laser machine one more item needs to be created and that is an angled stand. This is done by creating 2  rectangles one the size you need and the other slightly larger and set on an angle. both the rectangles are highlighted and the combine feature is used again with the subtract feature used to remove part of the larger rectangle to create the angled stand.

Step 5) Once the laser has finished the cutting and scoring the pieces are ready to assemble. The picture is cut to fit the oval shape and is glued between the back and front of the frame. the stand is glued to the back so the picture frame sits on  a slight angle towards you. once this is all done the clear resin is added to the area of the picture itself so it gives a shiny smooth appearance and also protects the picture. once dry it is ready to display.
