remove background with magic wand in xcs then erase any leftover specs with the eraser tool. Now use the trace function to get the outline. Move it to the side and delete the original image.

merge the images together and resize them if needed. Use the combine button and hit unite. Sometimes it doesn't work the first time you may have to place a rectangle around part of it to get it to combine. Sometimes that doesn't work either just keep trying till you get it right or just download my file and forget about it.

As you can see in the pictures you have 2 options on how you want to display this. After the cut you have 2 pieces of art.
