I made this because I didn’t see anything like this on Atomm for people like me. Neurodivergent, overstimulated, overwhelmed... but still trying.
These little wooden tokens are physical reminders of softness, survival, and chaotic grace. I wanted something I could hold when the brain worms start yelling, and now I want others to have that too.

Step1: Design Prep
Used XTS to create rounded off rectangles for cutting, then brainstormed things I sometimes needed to hear that others might too. Played with fonts until I found one that was neither too loud nor too soft, neither too bold nor too light and set to engrave.

Step2: Wood Prep and Laser Work
Feel free to use the settings for 3mm basswood or tweak as desired for different material, or lighter or darker engraving texts.

Step3: After Care
Completely Optional: Sand any rough edges and maybe lightly coat the front with protective sealant.
Bonus idea: Leave one in a public spot with a sticky note: “Take what you need.”
