This piece was inspired by a lifelong love of ancient stories, lost kingdoms, and the quiet power of twilight. The design blends motifs from sacred sunstones and shadow realms, symbols that would feel familiar, yet exist in a world entirely their own.

Step1: Design Prep
Assembled design in Procreate, then vectorized in Illustrator. (Already done for you.)

Step2: Wood Preparation
Choose your wood and mask if desired. I went with 3mm basswood. No masking but I did have air assist on. In hindsight, should have masked, or at least made sure I was using the wood I thought I was. But…live and learn.

Step3: Laser Work
You can use the provided settings if you like my image depth, or tweak them if you want yours lighter.

Step4: After Care
Completely Optional: Gold or teal paint fill to accent the sun and crescent.
