I made a paw shaped sign for mothers day. I wanted to make something for people those that pets and no kids. This frame was a thank you for my girlfriend and our 4 dogs. we recently lost our biggest dog so i like to think the biggest paw is his. in the back is a photo of the type of dog he was and his name with my name engraved. I will not add the back engraving to the file but if anyone would like the file of the dog just add it to a message.
upload file to XCS and change the names to your pet names. make sure the letters are not overlapping by hovering over the name. if they are then click the “weld” button. make sure the file is measured to your liking. be sure to highlight all of the file before making it smaller or bigger. then, process file.
next, grab the the paw with the cutouts and all its pieces and put them together like a puzzle on a a flat surface to paint them. this makes it easier to paint them all at once with a favorite color and paint type of your choice. then do the same with solid paw and paint it a different color(i painted it black).
next, grab the two paw pieces and glue them together. after they are glued, grab the inner paws and place them in the cutouts WITHOUT the letters. this will be used as a guidance to allow the letters to fall into the correct places when gluing.
finally, If you chose to engrave on the heart then chose what you want to say in xcs, add to machine, frame your position you want the words to be on the heart and process. don't forget to paint the back of the paw!
