St. Paddy's Day is coming close and the best thing to have is find a 4 leaf clover for good luck. Well here is one with a great message.
Step 1) This project starts from scratch with a heart selected from the shape list, this heart is then reshaped by unlocking the ratio and affixing the new shape. The heart is then copy and pasted several times to have a total of 4 of them. These new shaped hearts will become the 4 leaf clover.
Step 2) Now this step has the 4 heart shaped objects in place to become one piece. In order to do this a circle was added from the insert button and placed in the middle of the 4 hearts. By highlighting everything the combine feature is used and unite is selected.Once this is complete you are left with what looks like a clover with 4 leaves, all that is needed now is a stem. This is done with again a new shape from the shape list but this time a moon is selected.
Step 3) Now with the moon it again is reshaped by unlocking the ratio button and thinned out and stretched to form a stem for the clover. Now that there is a clover and a stem both items are outlined. this is to create a engraved border. To do this the outline and the original object are both highlighted and again the combine feature is used but this time the subtract at over lap is selected. By doing this it allows only the new outline and item to engrave.
Step 40 Now it is time to add the message, this is done with the text editor, once a font and size is chosen the wording is placed within the 4 leaves of the clover. then it is time for settings.
Step 5) Once everything is ready a green pre painted piece of basswood is loaded into the S1 machine once the machine engraves and cuts the project the 2 pieces are simply glued together by placing the stem part way on the back of the clover.
