Word Plaque cut on xTool 3mm Basswood with a stand for Mother's Day
This remix is based on
BouncerI used a 30cm x 30cm Basswood Sheet from xTool to I created this word cloud plaque for Mother’s Day and then modified an easel stand file (The Blank SVG one) I found in Design Find which is tagged above. I set the file to score the cut lines during the engraving pass and then taped over them before cutting to reduce charring.
I tweaked the easel stand (original from DesignFind) to include a slit for the heart point on the base — helps keep it more stable the base and then trimmed the back part makes the design feel a bit more polished.
Turn off the Cut lines for the first pass.
Cover the score lines with Green Painters Tape or Washi Tape to reduce charring.
Turn off the output for the Engrave and Score and turn on the cut settings for the stand and heart.
Remove the tape and assemble the stand by placing the left hand piece through the bottom slot on the right hand piece. Place the point of the heart in the slot on the base and you are DONE!
