Cut out the medal base shape using the M1 Ultra. Each medal includes a small loop slot at the top for threading the ribbon.
Use the included jig creation template to generate a fitting cutout for your medal.

Insert the medal into the jig, so it locks precisely into the F1 engraving window. Select your design and center it. You can add a personal text on the back side.
Cut a length of cotton band (~60–70 cm, depending on preference)
Apply self-adhesive velcro to both ends
Trim the ends directly through the velcro for a clean edge
Optionally melt or seal with fabric glue
Thread the ribbon through the slot in the medal and fold flat. That’s it!
Paint the medal using water-based paints, felt-tip pens, or food-safe markers (for children). You can also add stickers or handwriting on the back.
