A wooden wall clock with animals instead of numbers for the hours. Just to have something different but interesting at the same time.
In this case, I created an area of 300x210 mm, which is the size of the wood square that will be the actual clock.
At this point you must tell the XCS that you'd be working with 3mm basswood so the system will load preset settings.
Unless you have more experience, accept them, the final effect is awesome.
Using the markings tool, indicate to the XCS the area that you'll be engraving. In this case you need to select SQUARE and mark the initial and final point of the work area so your engraving gets properly done.
Do a preview of the engraving.
Sorry but I couldn't add the video due to it being over the size allowed.
Create and position exactly on top of the first image a duplicate of the area to be engraved and assign them a SCORE attribute so the image has a better look and feel.
At this point, don't forget to add a cricket to be CUT, this will be the hole for the machine clock to be inserted and installed on your new wall clock.
Remember, because you accepted the settings for the basswood, the system knos how much power, speed and so on to do so.
I don't have the clock machine just yet so this step will be updated.
Update: clock is working flawlessly. I decided not to paint the wall clock but you tell me what would you like me to do.
