Watch band for Valentines Day, using Xtool materials
Set your watch band in your Xtool machine.
You will want to use the vector option to trace the watch band.
I choose to use hearts… well because they are my favorite. But you can always add any design you like here. Maybe I'll create a Saint Patricks Day one next!
If you put your image half on the watch band and want to remove the access, you will need to use the vector and select the image. Depending on the image and the way it is overlapped, you will need to use one of the combine methods.
This can be a little trial and error. Remember you have that undo button! Or use the shortcut (CTRL+Z).
In this case I ended up not needing it but the next one I make I'll try to give you all a video of it.
In this case, I don't need the vector design. You don't want to actually engrave using it. You want to use the vector to keep the shape of the watch and you add in images.
I recommend always frame! I just helps to make sure that everything is where it should be.
Since I'm using Xtool materials, they sent a file with the perfect settings.
Take your watch band to the sink and clean it up. I just use some soap and water. You might need to use a brush to help get residue off if needed.
Once your bands are back in you're done!
I recommend thinking about placement. If you noticed I made sure that the hearts went the right direction of the band based on how I wear it.
Now I'm left handed so I wear my watch on my right hand. But depending on how you put your bands on make sure the images are going the right way and that you get a clear view on the two sides.
