Step1: Prepare the gas, connect the machine, place the material

  • Install the flow valve onto the oxygen cylinder, then connect the proportional valve and attach the gas hose to the welding machine. Power on the proportional valve and adjust the displayed value to 8.5-10 PSI/0.06-0.07 MPa.
  • Open and connect the welding machine to the cutting platform, then plug on, turn on the gas(Oxygen cylinder of 8.5-10 PSI/0.06-0.07 MPa shown in XCS).
  • Place a 0.39'' carbon steel sheet on the cutting platform and secure it with the blade and clamps.
  • Install the double-layer cutting nozzle onto the 12mm focal extension tube.

  • Turn on the machine, open xTool Creative Space on the computer, drag in the required xcs file, and adjust the parameters.

Parameters for 0.39'' (10mm) Carbon Steel:

  • Refer to the built-in settings of the xcs file.
  • Double-layer Nozzle+Oxygen(8.5-10 PSI/0.06-0.07 MPa shown in XCS)
  • Defocus Distance: +17(The maximum scale value of the capacitor head is +5, so a 12mm focal extension tube is needed.)

  • Click the start calibration button and then click on the center area of the material image to perform calibration.
  • Click the "Framing" to confirm that it is within the processing range. If there are no issues, close the lid, click "Process" and press the "Start" button of the cutting platform.
  • Gently tap it with a rubber mallet; if the wrench does not fall off naturally.

Step4: Must-know Suggestions

  • Before cutting, you must correct the red light and confirm the zero-focus position or it will cause bad cutting effects.
  • For 10mm-Carbon Steel cutting, you must use the double-layer cutting nozzle with the focus extension accessory and oxygen!
  • It is recommended to conduct a small-scale test before cutting and welding to confirm the results before proceeding with further processing.
