Step1: Prepare the gas, connect the machine, place the material

  • Install the flow valve onto the oxygen cylinder, then connect the proportional valve and attach the gas hose to the welding machine. Power on the proportional valve and adjust the displayed value to 8.5-10 PSI/0.06-0.07 MPa.
  • Open and connect the welding machine to the cutting platform, then plug on, turn on the gas(Oxygen cylinder of 8.5-10 PSI/0.06-0.07 MPa shown in XCS).
  • Place a 24''x 24''(610 x 610 mm) sheet on the cutting platform and secure it with the blade and clamps.
  • Install the double-layer cutting nozzle onto the 12mm focal extension tube.

  • Turn on the machine, open xTool Creative Space on the computer, drag in the required xcs file, and adjust the parameters.

Parameters for 1/12'' (2mm) Carbon Steel：

  • Refer to the built-in settings in Easyset Library of XCS of 2mm Carbon Steel
  • Double-layer Nozzle+Oxygen（8.5-10 PSI/0.06-0.07 MPa shown in XCS）
  • Defocus Distance: +17(The maximum scale value of the capacitor head is +5, so a 12mm focal extension tube is needed.)

Step3: Calibrate the capacitive sensor, Framing and Processing

  • Click the start calibration button and then click on the center area of the material image to perform calibration.
  • Click the "Framing" to confirm that it is within the processing range. If there are no issues, close the lid, click "Process" and press the "Start" button of the cutting platform.

  • Switch to the nitrogen cylinder and set the pressure to 14.5-29 PSI(0.1-0.2 MPa).
  • Disconnect the wiring between the welding machine and the cutting platform
  • Remove the capacitor head from the welding gun and install the welding nozzle.
  • Install the welding wire and connect the workpiece sensing cable onto the metal part that needs to be welded to complete the circuit.

  • Choose the material 1/12'' (2mm) Carbon Steel to apply the built-in welding parameters, and proceed with welding (Must enable wiring and lasering)
  • Pause welding at key points first and then use continuous welding for stronger connection
  • Apply black paint to the surface to prevent oxidation and rust.
  • Drill holes at appropriate locations on the wall to install the fixed shelving.
