Exploring different materials. For people wanting "personalzed" accent tiles for their home improvement fun, this is a multi step approach to using an S1 to engrave.
The first step is to clean your tile. You can wash but do a final wipe with ethanol.
Next take blue tape and make sure to place over the tile without creases or bubbles.
Make sure to complete your steps.
First, place tape (shiny side) up. Mark the focal length (tape icon). Next set the processing area (gold flag).
I used different settings for the detailed cat (P35%, speed 10) and increased the speed to 30 for the name)
Make sure to edit the name to reflect your personalization (also make sure to change the setting to process - currently ignore since I wanted to ensure you edited the name).
Make sure the image fits in the processing area.
Before you begin - check the processing area (framing button above process).
Given the detail and speed this will take over 2 hours to process.
Once the processing is done, remove the tape.
I used a soft brush an water. Final cleaning with ethanol rub.
Enjoy!
