Information

As these night lights have become incredibly popular I wanted to challenge myself in proving that really neat engravings can definitely be done using a Diode type laser like my M1 Ultra. With video instruction you will learn a really neat mess free hack into making some cool designs as well as using an LED plug-in night light from Walmart to compliment the entire design. ENJOY!!

Instruction

1

Step1: Engraving of Flower Pattern

In this step the laser will engrave the flower pattern which you can then easily color. Remember that if you accidentally happen to color inside the engraved outline you can simply place piece back into cutout and engrave again to clean out outline.

Helpful Tip: You can see video towards end to see what I mean about running a second engraving process in case you want to clean up your lines after you paint.

2

Step2: Cutting out Acrylic insert module and flowers

In this step the laser will cut out flower decoration for night light and acrylic insert module components that you will then adhere in place.

Please see video for full instructions on how to assemble once you cut it out.

Step3: Acrylic Engraving

In this step the laser will engrave the pattern attached which already have all the dedicated settings that will render a great look once light is applied to acrylic.

Please see video for instructions on how to best engrave acrylic using Diode Laser.

Throughout the video there are a lot of tips and tricks to ensure your light will look amazing.
