I designed this box because I could not find one of my liking online. I wanted a simple solid wood box to keep my extra sets of keys in. I'm not a person who likes common every day materials.
This is self explanatory in nature. The corners are designed to either have a “log cabin” look or can be easily belt sanded to eliminate laser burn marks to appear to have been produced by a cabinet maker.
The box should be partially completed if one wishes to sand off the ends.
In step two make sure to use a quality wood glue. Once the glue has dried good, fine sand the box halves and apply a couple coats of poly. I used clear Minwax.
Finally, pre-drill the holes for the hinges. Then install the hinges.
