      Making Mother's day gifts and one of the mother's favorite flower is the California state poppy flower.

Step1: Score the file onto a piece of wood

Select a piece of wood you wish to laser the image on. I chose a thick wood slice, then lasered the image onto it.

Step2: Paint the flowers

This part is a little more difficult. Since I'm trying to paint a California poppy I chose orange and yellow paint. For the background I chose the complimentary color to orange which is blue. So keep in mind a complimentary color if you chose to do a different color for the flower, it will help the overall image pop more.
