Step1: Prep Leather

I used a 3-4 oz veg-tan leather, I pre-oiled the leather and applied a coat of brown dye. But you can do other colors. Perhaps black or …red?

2
Step2: Engrave and Cut

Place your leather in your machine and engrave and cut.

3
Step3: Snap Holder

Take a piece of basswood and choose the file snap holder. This will create two circles with holes in the middle. Once cut out, glue them one on top of each other. When it sets, take your snap head and place the post in the middle of the circle just to hold it in place.

Then choose the spider logo file and line it up on the center of you snap.

I choose a black gun metal color snap from Tandy Leather. If you choose other color you will have to change the settings.

After you have engraved your snap head, set each part of the snap in your wallet holes. Make sure your snap is set correctly or it will shift your wallet.

Step4: Stitch

Now, you will just need about 25" of thread to do each side. Preform a saddle stitch on each side.

Step5: Your done

You can now add cards to your wallet. In the beginning your wallet may feel a little stiff and hard, but after a few days it will soften up and the more cards you put in it, the more it will widen over time.
