This 6-layer door hanger features a beautiful blooming flower with the phrase, “A seed today, a garden tomorrow.”

Instruction
Step1: *Optional* Resize
Select all elements and resize to desired measurements.
Step2: Laser Cut & Weed
Laser cut the project, there should be 6 layers total.
Weed out any excess wood.
The back two panels have cut outs for string/ribbon that you can thread before it’s all glued together, or when it’s all finished (whatever is easiest for you!).
Step3: Paint All Layers
Before you paint, stack all the layers together so you know what parts need to be painted and what parts you can leave blank. (I fought with a faulty can of white spray paint… I wish you better luck with your painting!)
Don’t forget to fill in the score lines for the quote; use a fine tip marker / paint pen.
Step4: Glue All Layers / Lacquer
Glue all 6 layers together!
(You may want to thread your string/ribbon through now.)
Protect your project by applying a lacquer of your choice.
Step5: Ready to Go!
Tie a pretty bow or knot, and it’s ready to display!
