Information
Spring to Life! Tulips and Roses Slate Platters. The first is an image of 8 tulips with the words "Spring to Life!" written underneath. The second is an image of 7 roses with the words "Spring to Life!" written underneath. Since these are made on 6"x12" slate platters they can be used as either serving boards in the kitchen or as decorative stones in the garden to encourage the spring flowers to bloom! The flower images were generated using Leonardo.ai. The font used is Chalk Love in 80pt font.

Instruction
1
Step1: Align the First Slate Platter for the Tulip Design

Select Canvas 1 for the tulip design. There is a rectangle that is ignored by the laser but is used to help with aligning the image and text on the slate platter and for framing purposes. Center the image and text when aligned properly.

2
Step2: Engrave the Tulip Design

Set the height for the laser and the material is rock coaster. Make sure the alignment rectangle output is off and the image and text is on, and then process!

3
Step3: Prep for the Rose Design

Remove the completed tulip design from the laser engraver bed and put the second platter in the laser bed. Switch to Canvas 2 and once again align the image and text using the rectangle and framing with your slate platter.

4
Step4: Engrave the Rose Design

Set the height for the laser and the material is rock coaster. Make sure the alignment rectangle output is off and the image and text is on, and then process!
