for 3mm Oak Plywood – Easter Bunny DIY Decoration
🧰 What You’ll Need:
3mm Oak Plywood (or any sturdy 3mm MDF/Plywood – but I personally used oak!)
Wood Glue (for the base only!)
Walnut wood finish or stain (optional, but it looks so good!)
Laser cutting machine – I use the xTool M1 Ultra
⚠️ Do NOT resize the design – it's sized to fit perfectly (each design is approx. 4.7–5.9 inches / 12–15 cm tall)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1️⃣ Choose Your Material
Place your 3mm oak plywood onto your laser machine bed.
Avoid soft woods—they can snap easily during assembly.
2️⃣ Focus & Frame
Mark your processing area and check the focus height for best results.
3️⃣ Load the Design
Open your xTool Creative Space or preferred laser software, and import the SVG file included with your purchase.
4️⃣ Select Material Settings
Choose 3mm Oak Plywood (or create a custom setting).
⚙️ Cutting Settings I Use (for Oak):
Power: 70%
Speed: 6
These work perfectly with oak on my xTool M1 Ultra – feel free to test a corner before running the full job.
5️⃣ Let the Laser Work Its Magic
Hit that Process button and watch your beautiful Easter bunny come to life! ✨
6️⃣ Optional: Add a Wood Finish
Once cut, apply your walnut wood stain or finish for a rustic, cozy look 🌰
Let all pieces dry completely before handling.
7️⃣ Time to Assemble!
No glue is needed for the bunny – it fits snugly into the base so you can easily store it after Easter 🐇
Add a small amount of wood glue only to the base/stand to keep it sturdy.
