A simple and portable phone stand. You can pack it and assemble it easily. You only need the laser cut parts and two rubber bands.
To make this project you only need:
Alternatively you can also glue the stand together. In this case you need glue as well.
For my project I intentionally didn't account for kerf so the cutouts are slightly larger. This means that when assembled, the sides will point outwards a bit. This makes it a bit more stable and less likely to wobble in my opinion.
Place one cross bracket to one side panel. Add rubber band. Add the second side panel. Stretch the rubber band on the bottom side to the other side panel.
Repeat the process for the other cross bracket.
Tuck in the rubber bands on the bottom to the small cutouts in the side panels.
See the pictures on how the end result should like.
Alternatively, you can glue the bracket together.
Follow the steps in Step 2. The only difference here is, that you add glue where the parts join together.
Once the glue has fully cured, you can remove the rubber bands.
