I was thinking of Spring time designs for crafts for a craft fair I had last month and I created a Simple 3D bunny with a stand.

Step1: Cutting the Three Pieces

Cutting and building this little bunny is quite simple. There are 3 pieces that make up this bunny.

  1. The Bunny outline
  2. The solid bunny cut-out
  3. The stand

Note: Discard the piece of the inner bunny the stand was cut into, this was to save material

Step2: Paint the Pieces

After cutting out the 3 pieces

I painted them as this was easier to do before rather than after and you can touch up any spots later if you missed any.

Step3: Glue the Bunny together
Preview

I like to use super glue as it dries quickly.

Glue Pieces #1 onto piece #2

Clamp it down and Wait until the glue is dry.

Step4: Glue Bunny to stand
Preview

Glue the pegs on the bottom of piece #2 into the holes in piece #3.

Note:

These pegs are sized properly fr use with 2mm wood and if you want to use a different size wood you will need to adjust the height of the pegs on Piece #2 and the Height and the holes on piece #3

For example if you use  5mm wood.

The pegs should be 5mm in Height and the width of the holes in piece #3 should be 5mm as well.
