This is a set of one Easter bunny and two Easter eggs. The design is two layers with patterned paper between the layers.
To get started, choose your patterned paper (any paper will work), you can even use fabric!
Choose your stain choice (optional, I just stained the top frame layer).
Have a brush and mod-podge ready.
Grab the wood you'll be using for your cuts and bush a thick-ish layer of mod-podge on it.
Immediately place your paper on the mod-podge and start brushing on a layer over top the paper. Since mod-podge is transparent, you wont have to worry about it showing on top once it is dry.
*The layer of mod-podge on top of the paper makes it much easier to wipe off and charring from cutting the wood.
Once your glue is dry under and on top of the paper, you're ready to cut!
Cut your bottom layers on the wood you just glued your paper to. The frame can be cut on a separate piece of wood without the paper.
Once your frames (top layer) are cut, use super glue to glue the frame on top of the patterned paper and thats it! Now you have cute, handmade Easter decor!
