Information

I needed a quick birthday gift for friend and her birthday was today. I made this last night in less than 45 minutes when I found out we were having an unscheduled birthday lunch for her today. (Panic!) I had already created the snowflake design and with "Happy Winter" for a new door sign for my front porch so it was simple to resize and work with materials I had readily available.

I spray painted a round 3 mm wood circle on front and back because I was in a rush. I prefer not to use spray paint because I like the burned wood edges and actually like to cut my own circles out of 6mm birch or MDF. I put it in front of my garage heater for 5 minutes on each side.

Step2: Cut small hole in top of wood circle with P2

I took a video of this step but wasn't able to upload the format.  This took less than 5 seconds to cut.

Step3: Cut acrylic pieces then glue everything together

Processing time for “Happy Winter” was 6 minutes and processing time for snowflake was 10:58 minutes.
