Information
Spring has arrived in the desert! With orange blossoms blooming and citrus ripe for picking, I wanted to give snack time a sunny twist. 🍊

The stars of this project are the fresh oranges from my backyard here in Arizona. I laser-engraved the faces directly onto the fruit and added custom wooden sunglasses—because it’s always sunny in Phoenix. 😎

The glasses attach with trimmed toothpicks, making them easy to pop onto any fruity (or veggie) friend. ✨ After snack time, toss the toothpicks but keep the shades—they’re reusable for next time!

There are 3 styles of sunglasses to choose from. Pick your favorite!

Important: To attach the glasses to your fruity/veggie snack, you will need toothpicks. Check the width of your toothpick and adjust the circles/holes accordingly. Toothpicks should fit snuggly.

If you want to, paint your sunglasses! 🕶️🎨

Step4: Attach Toothpicks

Poke two toothpicks through the holes on the sunglasses. 🕶️

Trim the excess toothpick so that it is flush against the front of the sunglasses. I used wire cutters.

(Toothpicks should fit snuggly enough that the glasses don’t slide off.)

Step5: Snack Time!

Attach the sunglasses onto your snack using the toothpicks to poke through the fruit/veg so that it stays on securely.

Enjoy your fabulous-looking, party-ready snack! 🍊😎✨
