Instruction
1
Step1: Gather your supplies

I used a precut round acrylic circle, blue chalk paint and plywood painted gold. I also used masking tape

2
Step2: Paint your plywood

I painted it gold. let it dry, then I finished it with a plycrylic fnish and let it dry. I placed a masking paper on it for the engraving to be crisp

3
Step3: Paint the entire acrylic circle blue

I used two coats of chalk paint

4
Step4: Place the acrylic painted face side up on M1

Don't forget to mirror your image. I purchased this file from etsy. Remember you don't want to engrave the acrylic you just want to burn off the chalk paint off of the back of it. That's why a high speed works well. Please also use your prisms as this helps not to bubble or burn the acrylic. Engrave painted side up!

5
Step5: Spray paint the back of the acrylic in white!

Now this will make your design pop as if you had engraved it. Let it dry well. You can apply a coat of maker's magic or acrylic spray to protect it.

6
Step6: Engrave the plywood part of it with mask on

This was a single line font in vector format, you can also engrave your saying.

7
Step7: Cut the plywood with mask on

Cut the plywood

8
Step8: Glue!

Glue them both together! I used superglue
