Cherish your lost loved one with this ornament you can create with a Diode laser
I used a precut round acrylic circle, blue chalk paint and plywood painted gold. I also used masking tape
I painted it gold. let it dry, then I finished it with a plycrylic fnish and let it dry. I placed a masking paper on it for the engraving to be crisp
I used two coats of chalk paint
Don't forget to mirror your image. I purchased this file from etsy. Remember you don't want to engrave the acrylic you just want to burn off the chalk paint off of the back of it. That's why a high speed works well. Please also use your prisms as this helps not to bubble or burn the acrylic. Engrave painted side up!
Now this will make your design pop as if you had engraved it. Let it dry well. You can apply a coat of maker's magic or acrylic spray to protect it.
This was a single line font in vector format, you can also engrave your saying.
Cut the plywood
Glue them both together! I used superglue
