This low relief engraving displays a spring time humming bird looking for some nectar within a floral setting. The background contains a detailed blossoming flower accompanied by leaves and with an outer frame look. Engraved on a 125mm x 125mm piece of laser grade MDF. The file comes as a 125mm x 125mm version but resizing can be performed on your end if you chose to without losing engraving quality. This makes for a perfect household decoration or gift for a loved one. If you import the SVG that is not black and white adjust grayscale to 254, contrast to 30, and brightness to -10 *Disclaimer* I am sure that this design would work fine with other wood types but I have only tested this file on laser grade MDF so I can not guarantee the results on different material.
Place your material in your xTool S1. If you are working with material that is larger than the design and wish to cut it out it is recommended to use a honey comb board for cleaner cuts
Once your material is set up in the tool open creative space and open the XCS file provided. This is where you can resize the image if desired but make sure to keep a 1:1 ratio for the image in order to not lose quality. If you import the SVG that is not black and white adjust grayscale to 254, contrast to 30, and brightness to -10 and set up file settings as listed on the designfind page.
If you wish to cut out the design create a square with creative space which is the exact size of your image. Place the square so it is lined up exactly around the outside of the low relief image. Adjust the file settings for the square (this will be different depending on the material you use). For ¼" laser grade MDF set to cut and change the power to 100%, Speed to 10, and passes to 2.
now you are ready to start processing. measure the depth and the processing area with creative space as you normally would and select process. Now it is just time to wait for the beautiful design to come out.
