I have a dog and a cat who think bobbins are toys for them, not something I need.  So I put them all in a plastic box.  Protected my sewing feet the same way.  But then I needed a way to store them so they didn't get knocked off the table while sewing.  So, I decided a small box for organization would work.  Now my bobbins, feet, quilting gloves and even my seam ripper sewing sign have a place to be handy enough for me to reach when working but staying safe from being hauled away by an animal.
