Step1: Creating a Hockey Puck Template
Preview

Started by laying a piece of 6mm Plywood approximately 19" Wide x 12" High on the Honey Comb.

Squared it off, Depth Calibration, Marked the Area and then proceeded to “Process” the project. Both the “Scored” border and the Lines centered to the hockey puck are used to ensure you lineup the jig on the machine to your design layout. I use the border when I mark prior to engraving.

The Line which appears to go horizontally through the middle of the holes is also used for a perfect alignment should you wish to engrave on the back of the puck. In this case I place a pencil mark down the edge of the puck and align with either the left or right mark. When flipped, I align with the opposite side mark.

I save a copy of the Template to another canvas, Select to all objects and set to “Ignore” I then create my batch design on it.

Once your Batch design is completed, copy to the original template canvas ensuring you lay it over for a perfect match/alignment with the Template.

Don't forget to click on Main Template and set to “Ignore” prior to Engraving.

You could “Lock” the Main Template in the settings to ensure nothing moves.

Varnished the template to help minimize the warping.
