My wife really likes puzzles so I made this for her. If you are brave enough, you can try to solve it for yourself. A little distraction every day.
The file is designed to fit on a 12x12 sheet of wood, so the project can be done in one run. There are no requirements to the thickness of the wood. On thinner wood (1/16) I find it better to rotate the top layer 90 degrees so that the wood grain on each layer run in different directions.
Staining the top layer and puzzle pieces will add contrast to the finished product.
Glue the back piece (with numbers) to the top layer (frame) together. Make sure the top layer does not cover any of the months or days.
