Step1: Laser cut the parts

Step2: Assemble the end caps

Parts used for this step:

  • 2x Medium circle piece
  • 6x small circle piece
  • fast-setting glue

Assembly:

Create the end caps (2x) by gluing three small circle pieces and one medium circle  piece onto them.

Step3: Assemble the lower part

Parts used for this step:

  • 10x Small spoke
  • 1x large ring
  • 1x assembled end cap
  • fast-setting glue

Assembly

  1. Glue the spokes onto the ring by gluing the opposite spokes first. Make sure the spokes are aligned with their opposite spoke. 
  2. After all the spokes are glued to the ring, insert the alignment tool and press down. At this point, the spokes are properly aligned and creating enough space for the end cap. 
  3. Glue the end cap and place it on top. 
  4. While the glue is setting, remove the alignment tool and press the end cap down, pushing the spokes toward the end cap. 
  5. Hold this pressure for a few seconds

Assembly:

  1. Glue the lower stand parts together. 
  2. While the glue is setting, insert the ring into its slots and glue it in place

Assembly:

  1. Place the pieces together by stacking them on top of each other.

Optional:

  1. Don't want a fragile Fabergé egg? Glue the upper and lower parts together!
  2. Want to place something inside your Fabergé egg? Use the alignment tool as a base for the lower part of the egg.
