Beautiful 30 x 40 cm slate serving board with a cute little mouse with cheese and the words Nibbles and Friends engraved into it with a boarder around the edge

Step1: Prepare slate
This beautiful design can be engraved into slate, timber or whatever you choose.
The design fits a 30 x 40 cm slate but can be adjusted to suit the size of material you are using. The settings are set for slate. The words, boarder, mouse and cheese are all set at 70% power and 250 mm/s speed. If you would like to engrave onto another material please ensure you adjust the setting accordingly for the material you choose.
You can sand and paint slate before engraving, however, this piece of slate hasn't been altered before engraving.
Step2: Engrave
Place your slate on the baseplate or honeycomb, measure your distance and mark your processing area.
Align the image up with your processing area and when satisfied you have the image in the correct area you can process the image onto your slate.
If using another material, please adjust settings accordingly to the material you are using.
Once all the engraving is done, give the slate a wipe wih a damp cloth. You can put a clear coat over your work if you wish.
