Step1: Ornament Design
Preview
- First layer/ Background
- Create a circle 3.5 inches
- Combine Circle with chicken wire image
- Add small circle at top for ornament hanging
- Second layer/ Foreground
- Create outer circle at 3.5 inches
- Create inner circle at 2.5 inches
- Duplicate small circle and place on top
- Group and line up with base layer to ensure that small circles line up
- Add text and wrap to align within the inner and outer circles

Step2: Chickens
Preview
- Find a chicken image (there is one in the xtool creative space; however I used one from another source
- if using another source - trace the image and use that for cutting
- Shrink image to fit with in the inner circle of the top layer of the ornament
- Set chicken image to cut parameters for your machine

Step3: Process
- Process the ornament and chicken
- Paint top layer red (I used spray paint from a craft store)
- Paint chickens black (or color of choice)
- Use spray adhesive (I used Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive) to combine ornament
- Insert twine through small top hole
- Add beads
- Tie off twine
