Step1: Design

Preview
- Create your text in seperate text boxes “HAPPY” “MOTHERS” “DAY”
- Align them so that all of the text is all connected in some whay as shown in the first photo
- Go the left side panel and go into shapes
- Find the hearts and add them to your design
- again make sure that attached to the some of the words by overlapping slightly
- Find the hearts and add them to your design
- Create a long skinny rectangle and align it at the bottom of the word “day”
- Make sure its slightly overlapping day as well
- Select all objects and “unite” them together
- Send everything to the laser

Step2: Creating the base

- Once your project comes out of the laser, grab your digital calipers
- Measure the bottom rectangle that goes into the base
- Go into XCS
- Create a rectangle with those exact measurements
- Create another rectangle around that one.
- Set them both to “cut”
- Send to the laser

Step3: Paint & Assembly

- Grab your paint and glue and finish off your project!
