I first taped over the external sides of the side panels to prevent any glue from coming out of the openings.

Apply glue to one side of the egg holder and top bracket / handle. As seen in the pictures.

Install the parts to the side panel.

Step3: Glue the other side part

Apply the glue to both egg holder and handle parts. Same as in previous step.

Install the other side panel.

Press both sides together so there aren't any gaps between parts. Also make sure everything is aligned. You can do this in several ways:

  • Use tape and tape snugly all around the assembly
  • Use rubber bands to hold everything in place
  • Use two heavy objects with straight sides to keep the assembly pressed together

Make sure that the bottom is straight so the part won't wobble. You can add eggs or a bit of weight in the middle to keep it pressed down.

Step4: Finishing up

Once you are sure everything is aligned, wait for the glue to fully cure.

When the glue is cured you can add the eggs.

The handle is more of a decorative piece do I don't recommend carrying the display with it.

(Since it isn't Easter yet, my eggs are not yet painted).
