Create these beautiful Christmas Ornaments that are filled with white acrylic paint that really makes the design pop!
To position the ornament you can set it onto the cutting base to hold it steady.
If you have the RA2 pro that can be used with the ring studs to hold onto the neck of the ornament. An example of this can be found in the video attached to this step.
If you don't have an RA2 pro, simple engrave one snowflake at a time and reposition the ornament after each engrave. With the RA2 pro you are able to get wider designs that go around the ornament but you are still limited for the height because the curve causes the laser to not be focused.
A tip that allowed us to engrave larger designs was to focus on the highest point of the ornament but then drop the laser head just a touch more.
If some coating still remains you can often just wipe it off with a dry paper towel.
Now all you have to do is pour some light color acrylic paint into the ornament and tap it around to get full coverage.
Flip the ornaments upside down to drain any excess paint and wait for it to dry. You are all done!
