This is one of several versions of this design that we have put on multiple items. It includes a distressed flag. Then we have removed a portion of that and added the Gadsen Flag (for this project) and specific unit patches for our friends, family and Veteran Comrades.

Step1: Choose the flag file
Using google we searched for a free US Distressed Flag file.
Import it into XCS.
Draw a circle in the flag.
Open the edit tool and remove the center of the flag.
Now you can insert the unit patch, rank, whatever you want into this circle, We chose the Gadsen Flag for this project.

Step2: Engrave
Before you engrave draw a chalk line on where the lid will sit when the lid is secured. Otherwise it is easy to place the design underneath it.
Process your engrave.
Seal with a clear spray.
