Information
A piece of AI Generated art depicting a Fairy talking over the days events with her friend beneath a moonlit sky.
The piece I did for this was 9.5"x9.5" on Birch 6mm (1/4")
Included is the XCS file with all layers to get the same 3D Illusioned effect shown and the cut line for the 9.5"x9.5" setup as well as the AI Image as a PNG File

Note that the instructions for this are the same as another file I posted on DesignFind and also includes a AI Generated fairy image. It is extremely important to read through those instructions so that you can achieve the same results I have here. You can find those instructions here:

https://projects.xtool.com/project/41742-how-to-do-a-3d-illusioned-engravedepth-engrave-includes-fairy-picture

If you are using a different machine that the P2, or a different material than ¼" Birch, then you will most likely need to adjust your settings. Just remember, the very first engrave should be lightened considerably with just the darkest areas showing. Each layer engraved after that should get progressively darker and more detailed.

The settings for each of the 4 layers are the same but included in the information part of this instructional.

The instructions are the exact same, you are just replacing the image with this image and in that file, I had the wood cut to the size I wanted to use. In this, I cut out the edge.

This artwork is generated through AIMake, xTools AI Generator. Easy to use and fun too. If you have not checked it out, do so by going to:

Step2: After following the instructions - Cut

After you have engraved your four layers, you may need to cut out your work. Use the settings above to set your cut for 6mm (¼") Birch. This usually provides a nice clean cut on the P2.

Step3: Finishing

I do recommend a finish on your work. Make sure to blow out your dust completely before applying a finish. Use a compressor, canned air, or good ole fashioned lung power.

Shown in the photos here are two other pieces I have done. Both were purchased plans and so I cannot include them as downloadable files.

I mainly wanted you to see these pieces because they were done following the exact steps and settings I provided in the instructions I linked to. The first one was done on Cypress wood and does not have a finish applied. It was also engraved with the grain so you can see the woodgrain of the material pops and is more prominate.

The second has a light coat of poly on it and is engraved against the grain. This allowed for a more enhanced image that really does seem to spring from the wood.

I hope you enjoyed this and found it useful. Let me know if it helped you and show me some of your own 3D illusioned engraves in the comments.
