I made a test grid for your laser. It works with all machines, and is super simple to use.
First, open the files.
Cut out the test grid. The parameters are already set for the grid to work properly. There is no need to change them.
Now use the test grid by looking at how a corresponding power, and speed cut. If it looks good, you can use it for another project.
I recommend trying the grid for different materials, like wood, mdf, acrylic, and even cardboard. This will allow you to see what you need for all different materials, without needing to do a seperate test every time.
The speed column represents the speed the laser is moving at in mm/s. Faster means it will take less time, but it could also not cut through. Find the right balance.
Power indicates the laser's power. more power means a deeper cut, but it also ages the machine faster.
Enjoy!
