Step1: Design
For my design, download a feather vector on the web, trace and add a contour of 0, to this contour I eliminate the internal cuts of the feather
To make the pieces that will hold the pen I made a circle and a square and added an outline and merged a rectangle to fit.
For the sign, I made a rectangle and drew a heart vector with the word mom written in english and spanish
I wrote 2 letters m on the sides, select the letters and the base and select subtract
add the word Best and duplicate, one for Score and the other for cut and paste embossing.
Step2: Cutting
First engrave the sign and then cut the other pieces.
When you cut the frame, reserve the center piece, we will use it last
*If your pen or pencil is circular, cut the circle piece, since my pen was square cut the square piece
Step3: Assemble
Before assembling, select the pieces you were going to paint with gold acrylic spray paint.
once dry, the first thing I put together was the pen, apply tacky glue to stick the base
then glue the frame, and the word best, then on the back side glue the print, you can use photos or any pattern you want, and finally glue the piece that we had reserved from the frame so that the paper cannot be seen
stick to the base and that's it.
If you want to make it taller, you can cut a 2nd piece from the base
