I used the bassword settings for the blank wood keychain I bought.  I also used it for the basswood cutout to make my own keychain (2 styles).  There are three canvases.  The first you can use if you have a blank wood keychain.  The second canvas includes the cutout for the wood to make your own piece and the wordart.  The third canvas contains the template (ignored) to help position the name of the person you want to edit.

I process the wordart side first.  Complete the autofocus, and set the processing area. I have provided two types of key chains - one with a narrow hole, the other for a wider band.  You pick which you like.  Once that is completed, I flip the long side (so that the words are the same orientation on both sides).

Please change the NAME to the person you are making this for.  Double click on the name and edit.    Place the pieces in the xtool bed.  Complete the autofocus, and set the processing area.

Once you are done you can immediately enjoy (if you use a bought blank keychain), or add keychain connectors to what you like.  You can use these for luggage too.

I spray the pieces with clear enamel.

Enjoy!
