Inserted a Christmas tree from the shape function in XCS.

Inserted Christmas ornaments also from the shape function and make them smaller, to fit in the tree.

I copied and pasted them and randomly placed them in the tree. Then i grouped it all together.

Step2: Adding the bottom piece

Inserted a square and made it rectangle and smaller, so it has the same size as the trunk of the tree.

Then i clicked combine and unite to attache the trunk and the rectangle together.

I inserted another rectangle and set the size of the rectangle to the thickness of the acrylic, but a little wider, so the trunk will fit in the slit of the bottom part.

Inserted another square and made it rectangle and bigger in size, for the bottom part.

Step3: Gift boxes

Inserted a gift box from the shape function and added a square and made it rectangle.

Made it the size of the box and overlapped it and clicked combine, unite, so the box is closed on the bottom.

I did the same with another size box that was in the shape function.

Step4: Placing the slits for the bottom

Inserted a square and made it rectangle and about the size of the bottom of the tree and the gift boxes.

I had measure the thickness of each of the different acrylics, so i knew how high the slit had to be and unlocked the lock,

to set the size and made it a little wider then the bottom of the tree and gift boxes.

Then locked the lock, so the size wouldn't change.

I then placed the tree slit, close to the top of the bottom piece and copy and pasted the slit, so i had the exact size and place that one, close to the bottom of the bottom piece.

I did the same with the gift box slits.

I grouped it all together and copy and pasted the rectangle with the slits, so i have 2 of them.

Set the cut settings on all pieces.

Now all pieces are ready to cut.

I cut out the iridescent acrylic trees first and then inserted the red glitter acrylic, then the translucent green acrylic for the gift boxes.

I glued the 2 bottom pieces together with acrylic glue and inserted the trees on each side and then the gift boxes.

They fitted just right and snug. No glue needed on those.

Hope you like this tutorial and make one for yourself for Christmas.
